Therapy tools need to be thoughtfully goal-aligned to be effective, with careful consideration to patients’ needs, interests, and lifestyle.
Creative interventions have been formalized through the disciplines of art therapy, music therapy, dance/movement therapy, drama therapy or psychodrama, poetry therapy, and play therapy and numerous other creative interventions.
Each discipline has been applied in counseling with individuals of all ages, for more than 70 years.
In this CPD webinar I will provide guidance and examples to incorporate poetry, cinema, images, photos, books, and stories in the therapy session.
