About This Webinar

What is a complaint against me at the HPCSA?

If you are registered with the HPCSA and a complaint, charge or allegation of unprofessional conduct is laid against you by a patient, a patient’s next-of-kin, a member of the public or other healthcare professional and is formally investigated by the regulatory body, this is known as an HPCSA complaint.

This webinar will focus on the steps that you have to take when there is a complaint lodge against you at the HPCSA (and what NOT to do).

This webinar will explain the procedures: how it happens and why it happens.

This webinar will explain how the HPCSA resolves the complaint, and the different outcomes of the process.

This webinar will inform you on how to report unregistered “psychologists”, trauma counsellors, life coaches etc.).

Finally, the webinar will focus on the emotional rollercoaster of having a complaint lodged against you and how to survive this ordeal.
