Understand Basic Instrumentation
Overview of module content
Instrumentation is defined as “the art and science of measurement and control”. Instrumentation can be used to refer to the field in which Instrument technicians, engineers and artisans work, or it can refer to the available methods of measurement and control and the instruments which facilitate this. As can be seen from the above diagram, focus will be placed on the following components:
- Process instrumentation
- Pressure measurement
- Temperature measurement
- Flow measurement
- Level measurement
