Ethics is at the core of everyday practice in the mental health field. As mental health practitioners, we are often faced with important decisions regarding our clients’ welfare and the services we provide – which often has far reaching consequences for the practitioner, client, and the public. Given the importance of such decisions, it is expected that the professional makes decisions in a deliberate, cognitively explicit, rational, and non-emotive way. In order to do what is best for our clients, we need to make decisions in a more critical-evaluative way.
This webinar is therefore focused on how ethical decisions should be made making use of critical evaluation. This webinar will equip you with the necessary tools and information you need to make good ethical decisions based on critical thought, and not just intuition.
